Troubleshooting Steps When BIOS Detects A Failing Drive.
Description
The following error messages may appear:
- WARNING! Please back up your data and replace your hard disk drive.
- WARNING! Your HDD/SSD might crash at any moment.
Resolution
Perform the following steps to resolve the issue:
- Back-up your data!
- Update the SSDs firmware. Via the Solidigm Storage Tool™ / SolidigmSynergy
™
- Perform a Secure Erase.
