California Proposition 65, officially known as the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986, informs California citizens about exposures to chemicals in the State's drinking water sources known to cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm.
Components within the solid-state drives manufactured by Solidigm may contain chemicals that are at concentrations above the safe harbor levels. However, these components are not typically handled outside of the Solidigm manufacturing environment because they are enclosed in the finished solid-state drive product. In an abundance of caution, Solidigm made the decision to provide a warning label even if our products do not contain Proposition 65 chemicals or even if the concentrations of those chemicals are below the safe harbor levels.
