Robert (Rob) B. Crooke

CEO

Rob Crooke is chief executive officer of Solidigm. Before becoming CEO, Rob worked for Intel Corporation for 32 years. During his tenure at Intel, Rob led the worldwide organization responsible for NVM technology design and development, complete solid-state drive (SSD) system hardware and firmware development, and wafer and SSD manufacturing, as well as marketing for Intel’s component, module, and SSD NVM businesses. Prior to that he led the Intel group responsible for developing world-class, low-power processors within the Intel® Atom™ processor product line, and for developing enabling technology for system-on-chip (SoC) products across the company. Earlier in his Intel career, Rob served as vice president and general manager of the Business Client Group, where he was responsible for overseeing Intel’s desktop products and Intel’s vision for business client computing. He also previously served as vice president and director of marketing and planning in Intel’s Desktop Products Group; as vice president and general manager of the Platform Architecture and Solutions Division; and as director of marketing for the Basic Microprocessor Division and Performance Microprocessor Division. Rob joined Intel in 1989 as a field applications engineer in the company’s sales force. Before coming to Intel, he held design engineering positions at Alliant Computer Systems and Custom Silicon. He received his bachelor’s degree in computer systems engineering from the University of Massachusetts.

Jeff Woolard
Chief Financial Officer

Jeff joins us from Intel corporation and has held numerous roles, most recently serving as a corporate vice president (CVP) and the chief financial officer (CFO) of the manufacturing, technology, and operations (MTO) group. Prior to this role, Jeff served as CVP and CFO of technology, systems architecture, and client groups. Before that, Jeff was Vice President and CFO for Intel Capital and the New Technology Group, focusing on Intel’s corporate venture investments and acquisition activities.

Ellen Doller
Chief Operating Officer

Ellen Doller is the chief operating officer for Solidigm. She leads the global operations organization dedicated to all business management, supply chain and strategic initiatives. Prior to Solidigm, Ellen spent 28 years at Intel Corporation in various roles in operations, planning, and supply chain. As vice president of operations, she was instrumental in the formation of Intel’s SSD business in 2005, growing the business to over $5 billion in revenue. Ellen began her career at IBM holding various management positions in semiconductor procurement, planning, and supply chain.

Laura Crone
Chief Revenue Officer

Laura Crone leads global sales, marketing, and communications. She is responsible for defining global business strategies to achieve the company’s revenue and share growth while enhancing customer relationships and market recognition. Laura is an accomplished leader with more than 37 years of industry experience. Prior to this role, she held leadership roles at Intel, including VP of channel marketing & operations, VP of global accounts, and VP of flash operations.

Sanjay S. Talreja
Senior Vice President and General Manager, Client

Sanjay and the CMD team develop and deliver world-class and industry-leading storage solutions for the PC segment. Over a 30-plus year career, Sanjay has held a variety of technical and management positions in component and systems engineering, marketing, sales, and business development. As GM, Sanjay leads a large cross-functional team that owns all aspects of the business from inception to HVM at all major PC OEMs. Sanjay is an author on 25 patents.

David M. Dixon
Senior Vice President and General Manager, Data Center

Dave and the DND team take pride in partnering and collaborating with NPSG business operations, sales and marketing, NAND media development, and core systems engineering. Prior to his current role, Dave was the VP of NSG systems engineering at Intel, and before that, NSG component media development. In these roles, Dave led teams of hundreds of engineers through all aspects of product development. Dave’s team was responsible for the component development of four successful generations of NAND (50nm through 20nm) and the lead generation of Optane 20nm components.

Katie Watson
Chief Human Resources Officer

Katie has over 25 years of HR experience across multiple industries and joins us from Gilead Sciences, Inc., where she served as executive vice president and head of human resources. Over 17 years, she helped grow the talented, dynamic workforce from 1,000 to nearly 12,000 in 38 countries while demonstrating the ability to evolve and optimize the HR Centers of Excellence structure and establish best-in-class analytics functions.

Steve Phillpott
Chief Information Officer

Steve brings 20-plus years of leadership experience across multiple industries. He has continually deployed cutting-edge technologies to improve data/information management for better business decision-making and has a track record of expediting manufacturing processes in global manufacturing companies. As CIO at Western Digital, Steve led a global team to drive transformation improvements across many processes and created Western Digital’s first big data analytics platform architecture that consumed over 100 trillion data points a day of manufacturing and other data and was ultimately recognized as one of the industry’s most strategic and forward-looking cloud-based big data analytics platforms.

Stephen (Steve) M. Muller
General Counsel

Steve joined Solidigm from Intel Corp., where he had worked since 2016, most recently as the lead lawyer for Intel's Memory business. Before Intel, Steve was a partner at WilmerHale in Boston, where his practice focused on patent litigation and IP counseling. Earlier, Steve clerked for Judges Cedarbaum (SDNY) and Parker (Second Circuit), and he began his career as an assistant district attorney in the Bronx.
